Job Summary

Adventist Home Health and Hospice is seeking a PRN Home Health Aide to join our Austin team. This is a per-visit position, giving you control over which visits you take while still doing meaningful, one-on-one work in patients' homes. You will follow individualized care plans, providing hands-on personal care and building genuine relationships with the patients you serve. You are detail oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a safe, healthy environment. Prior home health or hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, bathing, and transferring to wheelchairs or vehicles

Provide personal care, change bed linens, do light laundry, and help maintain a clean home environment

Maintain accurate records of patient care, condition, progress, or concerns and report observations to your supervisor

Build relationships with patients through conversation, reading aloud, or light activities to support mental engagement and wellbeing

Assist patients with light exercises or activities as outlined in the care plan

Accept PRN visits based on your own availability

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program

High school diploma or GED

One year of prior professional caregiving experience preferred

Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation

CPR certification required
