Assisting Hands Home Care is now hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) with hands-on experience caring for clients affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related conditions. Positions are available for weekend shifts in Centreville and surrounding communities, with other shifts and locations open across Manassas, and Gainesville.

What you’ll do:

Provide quality care and personal assistance for dementia and Alzheimer’s clients

Support safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility

Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding

Offer meaningful companionship and cognitive engagement

Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation

Assist with medication reminders and care documentation

Maintain safety and a calm environment for all clients

Qualifications:

Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in Virginia

Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care (all stages)

Current CPR certification and negative TB screening

Ability to pass a background check (per VA HCO regulations)

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance

Physically able to lift 25 lbs. and provide mobility support
