    Certified Nursing Assistant

    We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) to join our team in supporting clients through detox and stabilization. CNAs play a critical role in working alongside Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), providing frontline medical support, monitoring, and crisis response. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work with individuals experiencing substance use and mental health challenges.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Pay: Up to $22/hour (based on experience and classification level).
    • Schedule: Full-time, varied shifts, with weekend work required (minimum of 2 weekends/month).

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide direct support to LVNs during assigned shifts.
    • Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate).
    • Conduct medical assessments when an LVN is not present.
    • Evaluate intoxication levels and identify risk for withdrawal or detox complications.
    • Administer breathalyzer tests.
    • Screen for medical complaints (e.g., chest pain, cough, injuries, bruising, rashes).
    • Assess consciousness and behavior for safety and stability.
    • Conduct brief psychiatric needs screenings.
    • Perform delegated wound care.
    • Administer withdrawal assessment tools as a backup to LVNs.

    Qualifications

    • Current State of New Mexico CNA Certification (required to legally practice).
    • Basic understanding of Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and Mental Health (MH).
    • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
    • Valid New Mexico driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Ability to work part-time, with flexible scheduling across days, evenings, and nights (including weekends).
