Monitoring patient symptoms, changes in behavior, and vital signs are critical tasks for this role. Responsibilities: • Keep each room up to high standards of sanitization by changing bedpans and sheets and performing regular room cleaning • Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages • Relay important data or changes of patient status to charge nurse or general physician and other facility staff as needed • Provide carefully documented patient information in charts for multiple vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level • Exercise patients as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level Qualifications: • Should have strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables for wheelchairs and move medical equipment • Completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college • Exceptional communication skills in working with patients and families to maintain positive relationships • Experience administering a catheter and enema is preferred, but not required • Job seekers must possess a high school diploma or equivalent such as GED Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly
