Job Summary

We are seeking a Geriatric Nursing Aide / Certified Nursing Aide / Certified Medication Technician to join our team! As a Certified Aide , you will spend your time caring for our aging patients, administering medication, and following care plans laid out by the team of RN and LPNs. You will also work closely with other nurses and nurses aides offering support and guidance and be a supportive, helpful presence to our patients in their homes. The ideal candidate has experience working with an older population, has all the required licensing in the state, and works well independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide client care according to approved Plan of Care

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

Provide transportation as required

Assist in providing a safe environment for client

Comply with all documentation and record keeping requirements

Qualifications

Active, valid license within the state

Experience working with an aging population desired

Comfortability working independently and within a team

The ability to multitask and work well under pressure

CPR/First Aid Certification (require)

Clean background and criminal record

Caregiver having their own car is a plus.
