    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide restorative and rehabilitative occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric participants in clinic and home settings. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans and support participants in performing activities of daily living (ADLs).

    Ideal candidates: Professionals with adult or geriatric rehabilitation experience. Candidates with pediatric-only experience are not preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

    Implement occupational therapy treatment programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

    Provide therapy services in clinic and participant home settings.

    Assist with vital signs, range-of-motion assessments, and strength testing.

    Support rehabilitation activities focused on mobility, balance, endurance, cognitive function, and ADLs.

    Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to coordinate participant care.

    Schedule treatments and clinical visits and complete accurate documentation and billing.

    Build long-term relationships with participants and support their ongoing rehabilitation needs.

    Qualifications

    Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.

    Valid California OTA license or proof of license eligibility.

    Knowledge and skills necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.

    Minimum 1 year of relevant COTA experience.

    Experience in outpatient, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred.

    Willingness to provide therapy services in both clinic and home environments.
