What You’ll Do

Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist

Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living safely and independently

Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, energy conservation, and home safety

Communicate patient progress and changes in condition with the supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team

Complete accurate and timely documentation while maintaining Medicare and agency standards

Qualifications

Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Home health experience preferred, but not required

Experience with WellSky or another home health EMR is a plus
