Required Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

Graduate with an occupational therapy assistant certification

Current State of Texas License

Experience with pediatric populations (preferred)

Description and expectations for our Occupational Therapy team include:

Implement occupational therapy services for pediatrics beginning from birth through the age of 21 years old under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

Treat the client through use of therapeutic activities designed to restore function and self-care activities for improving function

Complete documentation to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy services

Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record

Implement occupational therapy services in accordance with physicians plan of treatment

Adhere to ethical and legal standards

Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge
