**Job Summary:**As a Certified Personal Trainer at Phoenix Fitness, you will provide personalized fitness training and coaching to clients of all fitness levels. You will be responsible for designing safe, effective workout programs, and motivating clients to achieve their personal fitness goals. You will create a supportive and engaging atmosphere while fostering client retention through exceptional service and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to understand clients’ fitness levels, goals, and any medical considerations.
- Develop personalized training plans tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.
- Lead one-on-one training sessions, demonstrating proper techniques and ensuring safety.
- Offer lifestyle advice to support overall wellness objectives.
- Track and monitor clients’ progress, adjusting programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance experience and retention.
- Stay updated on fitness trends, techniques, and certifications to provide cutting-edge training.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes client motivation and confidence.
- Conduct fitness workshops, seminars, and team training sessions as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized training environment and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling sessions and maintaining client records.
Qualifications:
- Current certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA) is required.
- CPR/AED certification is essential.
- Proven experience as a personal trainer (1+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and program design.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
