Our Tax Strategy law firm is looking for a detail-oriented, thorough, meticulous, and conscientious CPA to join our growing team. Benefits For Our Team: • Job Type: Full-time • Pay: Up to $125,000 annually, plus discretionary bonuses • Health (with 100% employer contribution toward employee’s premium). • Dental • Vision • Life • Short and Long Term Disability • 401(k) (3% Safe Harbor) immediate, fully vested, and nonforfeitable interest in your Elective Deferral Account • Paid Time Off • On-site/Remote/Hybrid work structure Responsibilities: About the Role: Tax Preparation & Review • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with current tax regulations • Analyze financial records to identify tax-saving opportunities and potential risks • Stay current on changes in tax laws and communicate impacts to clients and internal teams Client Relationship Management • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships • Respond to client inquiries and provide clear, actionable guidance Compliance & Research • Conduct tax research on complex issues and document findings • Ensure compliance with Internal Revenue Service regulations and applicable state laws • Assist with notices and correspondence with taxing authorities Process Improvement & Efficiency • Utilize tax software and technology tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy • Contribute to the development of best practices and standardized procedures Team Collaboration • Work closely with tax strategists, other accountants, controllers, and operations staff • Mentor junior staff and review their work as needed • Support firm initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment Qualifications: About You: Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred) • Active CPA license required • 3–7+ years of experience in tax preparation within a public accounting firm • Experience with a variety of entity types and industries preferred Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong client service and communication abilities • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, especially during peak tax season Compensation: $125,000 yearly potential
