We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join a financial solutions company specializing in comprehensive business services, including monthly bookkeeping, tax preparation, and business coaching. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting and tax functions while providing strategic insights to support clients in sustaining and expanding their businesses.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS).
• Maintain general ledger accounts and oversee month-end and year-end closings.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reports used for internal and external purposes.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct tax planning to minimize liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Represent clients during audits or in dealing with tax authorities.
• Conduct internal and external audits to evaluate financial records and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Provide assurance services to validate the integrity of financial data.
• Offer business consulting on cost reduction, revenue growth, and operational improvements.
• Provide financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning services.
• Guide clients on mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and laws.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect assets and financial stability.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, and auditing.
• Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
