Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Analyze budgets and other financial information
Prepare federal and state individual and business income tax returns.
Prepare financial reports and statements
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Prepare trial balances and adjusting journal entries
Meet with clients and their accounting team
Participate in strategic planning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Valid CPA certification in compliance with the state Board of Accountancy regulations
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
