Pay: $80 to $85 depending on experience.

Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse responsible for administering anesthesia and providing anesthesia-related care before, during, and after surgical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and obstetrical procedures. The CRNA works collaboratively with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations

Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans

Administer general, regional, local, and monitored anesthesia care

Monitor patients’ vital signs and physiological status throughout procedures

Manage airways, including intubation and ventilation

Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and complications

Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management

Document anesthesia care accurately and timely in medical records

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures and recovery

Qualifications

Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and APRN license (state-specific)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (as required)

Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Experience

Experienced CRNAs

Experience in hospital, surgical center, or specialty anesthesia preferred
