About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification to support in-office cosmetic procedures performed under local anesthesia. This is an as-needed position, with most procedures scheduled on Fridays, making it ideal for someone seeking supplemental work or a flexible schedule.
You will work directly with the surgeon during procedures, playing a key role in maintaining efficiency, patient comfort, and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with in-office cosmetic procedures including upper eyelid surgery and other minor surgical treatments
Provide intra-procedural support including retraction, tissue handling as directed
Prepare procedure rooms and maintain a sterile field throughout each case
Anticipate surgeon needs to support efficient case flow
Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care
Support clinical flow and assist with light administrative tasks as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established protocols
Requirements
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
Prior experience in surgical or procedural settings
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Comfortable working around blood, open incisions, and minor surgical procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Professional, calm, and patient-focused demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cosmetic or plastic surgery
Familiarity with procedures performed under local anesthesia
Ability to function in both clinical and patient care support roles
Schedule & Position Details
As-needed position based on procedure schedule
Most procedures are performed on Fridays
