    Compensation: $30.00/Hr. to $40.00 Job Type: Full-time (40 to 60 hours a week)

    We are currently seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our weld inspection staff. As a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), you will be responsible for ensuring that welding processes and materials comply with relevant standards and specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to accurately interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.

    Essential Duties

    Accurately interpret and apply information from plans, specifications, and shop drawings

    Report on general compliance and discrepancies in the contractor's materials and methods

    Perform quality field inspections to ensure welding processes meet specified standards

    Maintain detailed project performance reports

    Communicate effectively and professionally with welders, iron workers, contractors, and supervisors

    Uphold a strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to getting the job done right

    Safety Responsibilities

    Complete safety orientation program and monthly safety training

    Abide by safety and personal protective equipment policies

    Demonstrate safe work practices, apply information from safety training to your work, and avoid unsafe behaviors

    Drive defensively, avoid preventable accidents, and follow all traffic laws including use of a seatbelt and not using a phone while driving

    Report all unsafe conditions to your supervisor

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    Valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification

    High school diploma or equivalent, or two years of experience in a related field

    Must have a valid driver's license (Colorado driver's license required within 30 days after starting employment)

    No DWI/DUI within the past five years

    No major traffic violations within the past three years

    Must be at least 21 years old

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

    Experience in quality audits and quality control processes

    Knowledge of quality assurance and quality management systems

    Strong working knowledge of AWS D1.1

    Familiarity with ISO 9001 and FDA regulations

    Preferred experience in NDT Level 2 UT Shearwave, MT, and PT

    ICC Bolting certification preferred but not required

    Ability to conduct quality inspections and maintain quality systems

    Ability to learn and use Microsoft Outlook, iPad, and company-specific software

    Ability to clearly and professionally communicate verbally and in writing

    Excellent reliability and ability to independently manage daily schedules, ensuring punctual arrival to jobs

    Must be able to drive, sit, stand, lift, and carry for extended periods of time

    Working Conditions

    Workload may be highly seasonal and/or weather dependent. During peak months schedules may include weekdays, weekends, and overnight work as needed, ranging from 40–60+ hours per week, with schedules determined daily

    Regular exposure to outside weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, ice, wind, and dust

    Frequent exposure to various on-site conditions such as heights, confined spaces, uneven or rough terrain, and slick, wet, or frozen ground

    Moderate to moderately loud noise levels
