    We are looking to add a PROCUREMENT ANALYST to our team. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS SMALL COMPANY EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPLETE RANGE OF P2P FUNCTIONS. If you are great at what you do, enjoy working in a startup environment, and are passionate about developing supply chains, we would like to hear from you.

    In this position, you will be responsible for all purchasing functions from vendor selection, supplier management, purchase requisitions and orders; to receiving, invoice reconciliation, and assisting with accounts payable. Your efforts at creative sourcing and price negotiation will have significant impacts on financial success of the company. Additionally, your analytical skills will contribute strongly, as you provide deep insight into spending patterns, trends, and cost reduction potential as the company continues its rapid growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Research potential supplier targets for indirect expenditures and negotiate favorable terms; assist with selections for direct material spend

    • Help develop and refine requisition and ordering processes

    • Reconcile receipts and drive resolution of any discrepancies

    • Provide analyses on costs, and implement cost reduction activities

    • Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and maintain strong communications

    • Project management focus from inception through completion

    • Assist with wide array of additional functions as necessary within rapid growth startup

    SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 2+ years of experience working in a Procurement or Finance environment
    • Experience using an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of procurement concepts, practices, and procedures, including purchasing, negotiation, commercial contracts, and cost breakdown
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
    • Strong analytical skills, with ability to back up conclusions with data
    • Time management skills, with ability to separate the important tasks from the noise
    • Sense of urgency, with ability to work well under pressure
    • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to present concise data to internal and external stakeholders

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

    • Familiarity with major electronics manufacturers and distributors
    • A/P reconciliation and management
    • Experience wearing multiple hats at a rapidly growing startup company
