We are looking to add a RADIATION EFFECTS ENGINEER to our team. If you are great at what you do, enjoy working in a startup environment, and are passionate about developing hardware for leading-edge satellite, spacecraft, and aerospace communication systems, we would like to hear from you.
In this position, you will be responsible for Cesium's Radiation Effects program. We are looking to hire candidates with varied experience levels, ranging from seasoned radiation effects professionals to recent graduates in Electrical Engineering.
The core skill required is a thorough understanding of electronic components and systems. Additionally, exceptional organizational skills will allow the successful candidate to maintain clear, accurate, and accessible records and coordinate testing processes. A strong understanding of the physics and statistics of radiation effects, or willingness to develop such understanding, is critical.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
The successful candidate will present engineering design review materials to our customers and executive team, as well as participate in proposal-writing efforts. As such, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
