    SUMMARY/JOB DUTIES

    Supply Chain/Program Manager leads inventory, purchasing, materials and demand planning for CEVIANS Optical products line as well as managing well established accounts.  The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the Optical products supply chain and logistics and related operations including coordinating with quality assurance, engineering and manufacturing to meet customer deliveries at optimized cost and working capital allocation.  Managing inventory levels and the production capacity to meet our customers’ needs along with proven customer relationship management is critical to this position.  He/she is a champion in Made2Manage (M2M) ERP system and leads CEVIANS’ planned next phases of M2M upgrade implementations.  The position requires ownership and holding others accountable for meeting a production schedule.  The Supply Chain/Program Manager is able to communicate efficiently with internal functional groups, but also is experienced in managing challenging customer interactions.  Supply chain/Program manager is responsible for delivering Optical products on time, in compliance with quality requirements, at expected yield and cost targets.

    • Leads the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
    • Responsibility for strategic purchasing activities such as raw material cost reduction, price and lead-time negotiations, supplier selection process, supplier scorecard and annual review of suppliers.
    •  Work closely with Product management to support new product launches and other portfolio changes to maximize customer service and minimize obsolete inventory.
    • Manage inventory level and make recommendations to improve inventory turns while meeting delivery objectives
    • Provide leadership to the various BU functional groups
    • Collaborate with various functional areas such as Customer service, Finance/Accounting and Product management as needed.
    • Update or develop and implement supply chain policies and Quality procedures as needed to capture best practices in compliance with AS9100.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is required
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: materials planning, inventory control, and/or demand planning in manufacturing environment is required, preferably in aerospace, automotive or electronics industry.
    • Lean or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Proficient in use of Made2Manage (M2M) ERP system.
    • Ability to manage, coach and lead others.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams while also displaying a strong process focus.
    • Bring a high level of positive energy to the team with a demonstrated track record of achieving results.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical aptitude are required.
    • APICS Training/Seminars and Lean Concepts coursework is preferred.
