Job Description

Title: Business Systems Analyst / Product exp. Location: Irvine, CA Duration: Long term

Responsibilities: •  Set up and facilitate productive requirements discovery sessions with business SMEs (incl. setting agendas, prep, and read-outs) •  Lead and coordinate the activities of acting business system analysts and also making sure the work (tasks) are being properly tracked in Jira •  Work with other acting business system analysts on the team to prepare read-outs from discovery and to create product definition docs •  Work with product owners and technical teams to update feature roadmap and define related product backlogs •  Attend and contribute to regular agile planning / execution meetings (e.g. daily scrum, scrum planning, etc.) •  Ensure that requirements are rationalized across the overall product roadmap (e.g. identify and collapse redundant requirements) •  Maintain a regular cadence of interaction w/ product owners and technical team to enrich, groom, and prioritize the product backlog •  Facilitate user acceptance testing of realized requirements / user stories (i.e. work with POs to write test cases, execute, and document)   Requirements: •  Business domain knowledge – Prior experience with a similar company / industry with direct CG experience preferred •  Requirements discovery and definition – Must use some formal methods of requirements discovery and definition (e.g. SixSigma, SSADM, etc.) •  Agile planning and execution – Totally fluent in agile methods and related tools (Jira, Plan, Confluence) •  Technology domain knowledge – Experience with enterprise data management, data quality, data warehousing, cloud infrastructure and data platforms
