POSITION OVERVIEW
Chairish Inc. is looking for a Contract Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist. Our SEO Specialist will help the product team with traffic monitoring, keyword optimization, and SEO growth opportunities.
As part of a small team, this is an impactful role! Flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential. You’ll be reporting to our Director of Product and will be provided with any necessary tools. You should be a creative thinker who is enthusiastic about making data driven decisions. Oh, and it helps if you are interested in beautiful home decor!
Responsibilities
Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance
Perform recurring organic traffic monitoring, KPI, and competitor analysis reporting
Develop title and meta description tests
Perform technical SEO audits & site maintenance
Perform keyword research to generate recommendations for on-page copy improvements and new blog topics
Support on-going link building campaigns
Contribute to SEO growth and conversion projects
Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments, communicate developments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics
Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
Ability to work within a team and independently
Desired: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations
BS/BA degree preferred
