Chaise Management Group is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team! The qualified candidate will be profiecient in Haitian Creole, English and marketing.
TASKS:
- Gather data from radio, television, web, and social media platforms across Haiti via telephone and email.
- Market research of potential and existing affiliate.
- Willing and able to perform duties and participate in meetings, conferences and trainings during flexible hours.
- Write, edit, and translate Creole-English-Creole documentation, reports, e-mails, etc.
- Contact parties in order to obtain or confirm new and existing information, entering relevant data into CRM database and writing progress reports.
- Monitor agency affiliates in Haiti using internet tools, streaming or recorded to report on the use of VOA content.
- Assists in scheduling, preparing for, and coordinating meetings or conference calls across multiple parties. Other meeting logistics to be met as well.
- Assist in organizing virtual or in-person conferences, events, and trainings in or outside the U.S. (e.g. verifying hotel event reservations, invite confirmations, etc.).
- Travel abroad may be required.
- Assist in answering office email inquiries and general correspondence letters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) year experience in a similar marketing or administrative position.
- Must speak, read, and write Creole and English fluently. Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely showing organizational, self-motivating, and time-management skills.
- Ability to stay highly organized and efficient in a fast-paced rigorous environment.
- Confident working with clients virtually via e-mail, phone, Teams, Skype or others.
- Strong positive customer service oriented personality by responding to affiliate needs quickly and completely.
- Create and edit reports on a weekly or monthly basis in both English and Creole.
- Excellent proficiency with Internet and Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel.
- Willing to travel for work purposes. Locally, domestic or international travel.
- Must have the ability to pass a government security clearance.
