POSITION OVERVIEW

Challenger Teamwear is seeking a reliable and diligent Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness will contribute to providing a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Vacuuming

Dusting

Cleaning and stocking restrooms and break rooms

Window cleaning

Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area

Sweeping and mopping floors

Cleaning of trash receptacles, furniture, fridges, and microwaves.

Wipe down/dust vacant cubicles

May perform other duties as assigned

Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis – sometimes additional weight on an infrequent basis.

PAY RATE

$15 per hour
