Challenger Teamwear and Challenger Sports have places for interns who wish to gain some work place expertise and experience in sales, marketing, event planning, customer service, warehouse, print shop or finance. Most interns work a semester and over the past few years we have hired a number of interns as full time employees once their internship has ended.
Challenger Sports in the largest independent provider of youth soccer programming, soccer tours, soccer tournaments and soccer uniforms in North America.
The Internship opportunity will provide students with an insight into market research, sales, direct marketing & sales, data analysis, program management and customer service primarily within our Challenger World Tours division.
Interns will work side by side with Challenger’s international staff and they will be trained and supported by some of the most experienced professionals in the soccer industry.
Challenger Sports provide unpaid internships, and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, management and marketing industry. Hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights and weekends may be required.
Job Duties to include but not limited to:
Sales and Marketing
Database management
Data collection, surveys and analyzing of results.
Conduct Company, competitor and target market research
Contact customers
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding analytical and database management skills
Will be pursuing a post-graduate degree in a related field
Strong computer skills and technology skills to include Excel, Word, Internet and Social Networking sites
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Must be an active college student
Must receive college credit for internship with our company
