    Job Description

    NEW BUSINESS SALES REPRESENTATIVE

    Job Summary

    This role is within CGI's Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Drive new business acquisition in the Commercial Business Unit, focusing on either Perimeter (PAS) or Commercial (CAS) products, (ii) Understand the respective product line inside and out, and be able to communicate that effectively to customers, prospects and industry influencers alike, (iii) Represent CGI at industry trade shows, (iv) Track prospects in a sales pipeline and drive to closure (v) Work cross functionally to develop, track and analyze collected customer & market data and make recommendations for sales execution. 

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 0-1 year sales experience
    •  Strong public speaking skills 
    • Able to travel up to 60% - domestically and internationally; 
    • valid driver's license

     

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Proficient in sales systems; mechanical aptitude
    • Fluency in Spanish or French-Canadian

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create a pipeline of prospects and track to closure, providing reporting at each step of the journey on CRM
    • Create and conduct presentations to potential customers in order to generate/expand sales footprint
    • Track and analyze collected customer & market data, identify and escalate opportunity areas to leadership
    • Conduct projects and programs to generate sales of LiftMaster CAS and PAS products to end users
    • Understand all CAS and PAS products in the LiftMaster and Chamberlain portfolio in order to improve our competitive positioning in the market
    • Coordinate projects in partnership with key dealers and integrators
    • Generate and follow-up on leads to fulfill the sales pipeline; determine best approach to close sales
    • Track and record activity on accounts in the CRM
    • Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
    • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
