Champion is seeking experienced reach truck or double pallet jack operators for a temperature-controlled warehouse providing storage and distribution services for the food industry.

Position(s): Reach truck and ride-on electric double pallet jack operator. Working in cold storage warehouse, in temps between -5 degrees to 36 degrees.

• Experience Required: 2 years of reach truck or ride-on electric pallet jack experience.
• Education Requirements: None if self-motivated, self-driven and can complete work obligations in a timely manner.

Must be able to speak and understand English.

Hours + Pay:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, M-F, with OT worked after a shift if applicable, plus occasional Sat especially during the holiday season. $19.50/hr. No shift differential until FT then $1.00. (Lots of hours, big checks)

• Once hired on Full-time: will receive predetermined wage increases every 6-months for 24 months then annual increases. Full benefits package after 90 days.

Background: No felonies within 7 years

Drug Screen: Yes.

PPE: Freezer coats, pants, masks, and gloves. You will need your own steel-toe or composite-toe boots that cover the ankle. Once FT will provide a voucher for freezer boots.

Dress Code: Wear warm clothes and bring extra clothing to stay warm.

Training: On the job training/side-by-side with an FT employee until management is confident you're able to work alone. Also, orientation will be provided.

Rules + Other: Smoking outside only. No cell phone on the floor. Break rooms have multiple refrigerators and microwaves. They have lockers and will provide locks.

Parking + Building Entry: Reliable transportation is required. The location is not on a bus line and hours do not coincide with routes.
