Restaurant Management Services (RMS), a local restaurant group that oversees Chandlers Prime Steaks + Fine Seafood plus two locations of Ling & Louie’s, is searching for a creative director.

The breakdown of the position is roughly 50% graphic design, 20% social media content + maintenance, 10% website maintenance, 10% writing, and 10% meetings + miscellaneous, equalling a 100% fun, and interesting, job!

Successful candidates for this position should have skills and experience in the following areas:

Graphic design – the creation of ads, menus, promotional materials

Photo and video creation – informal (think iPhone) productions for use on social media

Website maintenance – updating menus, photos, and content

Copy creation – for consistent messaging across all platforms (love of a good pun is a bonus)

Creative thinking – ideas for promotions and events

Analysis – tracking through Google Analytics, bit.ly, etc., to gauge interactions and the success of initiatives

Qualified candidates will have expertise in:

Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop

Editing within a WordPress environment (don’t worry – we have a programmer for the heavy lifting)

Strong writing skills – utilized on the website, blog posts, and regular e-blasts

5+ years minimum experience in the graphic design field

Social Media management – content creation plus regular posting, monitoring, and response to comments across Instagram, Facebook, and review platforms

Working with printers and publications

Being a self-starter with a strong eye for detail, and good time management skills

Knowledge of SEO and Google Ads is a bonus but not mandatory

A love for food, wine, and the hospitality industry!

While this is a remote job, the ideal candidate will be local to offer opportunities to pop in to take photos of new menu items or the 50-pound halibut that just arrived on ice fresh from Hawaii, for weekly management team meetings, and to attend events.
