Part-Time Year-Round Office Assistant (Local Berkeley Accounting Office)
We are a small, local Berkeley office offering accounting and tax services to small businesses and individuals. Our office has an immediate part-time year-round Office Assistant position. Days and Hours are somewhat flexible, and will average around 2-5 hours per day. This is a perfect position for a college student who lives/goes to school nearby who needs part time work while attending college. The job responsibilities are mostly: - Scanning - Filing - Packaging of completed accounting/tax work - Preparing shipment airbills via GSO, FedEx, USPS, UPS for packages to be mailed - Preparing client files for appointments the next day - Greeting clients / other visitors to our office We are looking for a candidate who is meticulous and detail-oriented and will be able to pass a background check (our office covers the background check costs).
