Job Title: Urgent Hiring for Change Communications Consultant

Location: Oakland, CA (once a week, hybrid)

Rate: 50 to 60 hourly on 1099

20 -30 hours per week, with possibility of extension

Experience : 5–8 years of relevant experience

Top things - Ideal candidate should have experience in change management and communications transformation, particularly within HR, Talent Management, HCM, or technology transformations

Success factors : Strong communication, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, writing/storytelling, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

- Develop a comprehensive change communications strategy in partnership with the Talent/HR and business teams

Work closely with key stakeholders and conduct stakeholder mapping

Develop and manage:

- Manager communications

- People Partner/HR communications

- FAQs and talking points

Job aids and training/support resources

Change-related communication materials

Drive employee engagement and establish feedback mechanisms to understand employee concerns and adoption

Strong writing and storytelling skills are required

Experience with HR Job Architecture, Talent Management, HR technology, or HCM transformation is highly preferred

Experience supporting large-scale organizational or HR technology transformations

Current initiative includes:

Updating job architecture

Redesigning job profiles and job families

Reviewing and updating salary structures

Supporting the first release/phase of the transformation

The role will require someone who can come in and work closely with the team to execute the change communications strategy.
