SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP
Internship positions provide an opportunity for public relations and communications students to get hands on experience in a marketing and sales environment.
Hiring Locations may include but are not limited to Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, California and Maryland.
CRUCIAL FUNCTIONS:
Effective project management adhering to established timelines.
Writing and editing internal communications materials
Maintaining intranet site pages and permissions for Global IT
Develop targeted and corporate-wide internal communications related to technology and digital activities, events and initiatives.
Produce high-quality communications that are appropriate for intended audience and consistent with brand and editorial style guidelines.
Use coordinated communications strategies to improve message efficiency.
Translate key technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Bachelor’s degree in a related communications field
PREFERRED MAJORS: Public Relations, English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other related major
Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Communications
Strong leadership and team building skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.
Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
