Salary: $17 hourly + mileage reimbursement for qualified staff
Education Level: High School

Do you have at least 6 months experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy or Intellectual Disabilities.)?

Channel Islands Social Services is looking for Respite Caregivers to work with our families. Our Respite Caregivers provide care, supervision and companionship to children and adults with developmental disabilities who reside at home with their families. All care is in the family's home and local community. Respite care is designed to give the primary caregiver/parent a brief break in the care of their loved one. Typically parents will go on date nights, catch up on errands or sleep, and take care of their own mental health.
