Title: Field Service Engineer- Low Frequency
Shift: Full Time; Hours vary based on client need, extensive travel (80%+)
Salary: $80k+ annually, depending on experience
Field Service Engineer Role:
This person is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low-frequency induction power supplies and related equipment. This role exists to ensure our client's equipment is properly installed and maintained at customer sites, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance, based out of the Warren, OH location.
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain induction power supplies, coils, furnaces, refractory lining, and associated systems
- Work with 480-volt and higher, single and three-phase AC circuitry
- Assist customers with the installation of furnace refractory and diagnosis of refractory problems
- Travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, up to 90% of the time
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations
- Work in adverse environmental conditions as required
- Train less-experienced personnel in equipment maintenance and repair
- Provide support to the service department by handling customer calls and looking up drawings
Field Service Engineer Reporting Relationships:
This position reports directly to the Field Service Manager. This role has no direct reports.
About You:
- Have a college degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Possess at least one year of experience in the industry
- Maintain a valid driver's license and a US passport
- Have the ability to climb ladders and work in adverse environmental conditions
- Possess good credit
- Demonstrate excellent customer relations skills
- Be available for frequent domestic and international travel
- Be familiar with brickwork or refractory installation

Additional Information:
