Job SummaryWe are seeking an Intern for Summer 2022 for our Facilities & Engineering Department at the Manufacturing site in Rockville, MD. As part of a team the intern will help to complete a manual asset inventory and compile the information to be implemented into a database. To gather the input for the project, the intern will interact with other departments and team members to gain an understanding of the assets managed by that department and what is needed for the upkeep of those assets. Strong excel skills may be required to convert asset data sheets into spreadsheets for database.Job QualificationsThe following are minimum requirements related to the Facilities & Engineering Intern:• Student currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Associate’s program• Completion of Sophomore year• Minimum GPA of 3.0• Ability to fulfill a minimum of a 10-week internship within May - July or June – August time period• Effective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environment.• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with a strong attention to detail• Must possess effective written and oral communication skills. • Must display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
