Job SummaryCharles River Cleveland will be hosting a paid internship within our Safety Assessment group for the summer of 2022. Internship will last from May 31, 2022 - August 19, 2022 (can be flexible on start/end date) Responsibilities•Complete assigned tasks as directed in a timely manner using best practices and standards•Participate in team planning activities•Available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship Job QualificationsThe following are minimum qualifications related to the Summer Intern position: Education: Working on Bachelor of Science degree. Prefer Chemistry and 2nd or 3rd year in. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. About Safety AssessmentCharles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
