HEALTH BENEFITS COORDINATOR
CLASSIFICATION/STATUS: Exempt, Full Time, Permanent
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Community Support Services
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Health Benefits Counselors, Mount Auburn Lab Intake Counselors at both sites.

As part of a dynamic team at Charles River Community Health (CRCH), a healthcare practice providing compassionate care to underserved communities, the HEALTH BENEFITS COORDINATOR will play a critical role in the comprehensive health benefits process. The HEALTH BENEFITS COORDINATOR will have a solid understanding of health insurance requirements, regulations, and policies. The HEALTH BENEFITS COORDINATOR will supervise counselors, prepare reports, compile statistical data, and develop key internal and community relationships to streamline the referral process

CRCH is a comprehensive practice providing medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, optical, and vision services to diverse underserved local communities. We serve over 15,000 patients annually, and 80% of those served are well below the poverty line while over 60% speak in a language other than English.
