Caregiver Needed – Newberry Area

We are seeking a mature, reliable, and compassionate caregiver for a particular elderly individual in the Newberry, SC area. Shift hours are: Evening and Weekends (MWF)5pm-7pm; (Tues/Thur) 5am-7am & 3pm-6pm or 4pm-7pm; (Sat/Sun) 9am-2pm & 5pm-7pm.

Responsibilities include:

Providing companionship and emotional support

Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean environment

Taking client on outings and rides

Engaging in activities to entertain and stimulate the client

Assisting with daily routines as needed, dressing, toileting, light-house keeping, showers, meal-prep.

Qualifications:

Honest, patient, and loving demeanor

Dependable and punctual

Non-smoker preferred

Must be able-bodied and capable of assisting with mobility if needed

Prior caregiving experience is a plus

Additional Information:

Must have reliable transportation

Flexible and positive attitude required
