Summary As a Senior Restaurant Accountant at Toast All Day (CHG LLC) you will play an integral role in supporting a growing company’s accounting needs. CHG owns and operates a variety of restaurant concepts including seven Toast locations. The Senior Restaurant Accountant, will work closely with the Accounting Consultants, CEO/Owner as well as other accounting team members to oversee and complete the day to day accounting aspects of this growing company. We are a multi-concept restaurant group with an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant. This position will be assisting in all general accounting processes and payroll processing. Trust and confidentiality are of the utmost importance. As we continue to franchise and grow there will be lots of room to grow within the accounting department.

Responsibilities

Financial Statement preparation and analysis.

Cash Flow & Cash Needs projections.

Budget preparation.

Manage and review daily bank activity.

Review and approve alcohol purchases.

Journal entry preparations and processing AP check runs.

General accounting and administrative support.

Processing monthly sales and use tax filings.

Event sales entry and third party delivery reconciliations.

Reconcile AP and AR accounts to ensure prompt payment.

Reconcile invoices to vendor statements.

Bank statement and credit card statement reconciliations.

Post financial information to journals, registers, ledgers and balance sheets.

Closing month end and year-end financials.

Preparation of Year-End Closings / Reports for CPA / Filing 1099’s

Assists as needed to perform other related duties and special projects as required.

Apply knowledge of GAAP.

Knowledge and Skills Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to perform a volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy.

Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Demonstrated ability to learn new accounting software.

At least 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting.

Demonstrates a positive attitude, energy, and professionalism; is trustworthy, respectful, and demonstrates sound work ethics.

Experience with financial statements preparation and financial analysis.

Experience with Restaurant 365 accounting software and/or ToastPos is preferred.

Working knowledge of GAAP and other accounting regulations.
