We live in Shoreline (a couple of blocks from Shoreline Community College) and our kids (ages 10 and 13) have after-school activities in the area. We are seeking a responsible, energetic and proactive individual who can provide transportation and also help with homework, walk the dog, occasionally prepare light meals, and assist the kids with minimal housework. We are looking for coverage Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday from 3:00 (when the kids finish school) until 6:30. On most Wednesdays, the kids have early release and we would need coverage to begin at 1:20. Some days, the kids will just need to be brought home for snacks and homework. On other days, the kids will have lessons or practice after school. Most of the driving is relatively local to Shoreline. There may be some evenings on which we'd need someone to stay later (but that is flexible and based on availability). We are hoping to start on Monday, April 1. Also, we would be open to job-sharing if you aren't able to cover Monday-Friday, assuming that both candidates are a good fit for us. Requirements: * responsible, honest and good fit with family * ability to be calm and flexible with last-minute changes * own car and insurance * excellent driving record, background check, legal to work * excellent communication skills This job is also available to extend in to the next school year and would be a great part time job for a Shoreline Community College school student.
