Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Raintree area of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their son for 9 months. Their son is currently 3 months old and will be 4 months old when the nanny starts. The nanny will typically be needed Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (whichever option works best for the nanny will work great with the family). There may be occasional schedule changes. The family is looking for a nanny who would be flexible to adjust their schedule occasionally.

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, accountable, experienced, and honest. It is important to the family that the nanny provides loving, gentle, and calm care to their son, caring for him as if he were their own. The family is looking for a nanny who will be able to keep him on his daily routine, meet his daily needs (feeding, napping, sleeping), be attentive, and engage him in educational activities that will foster an educational environment. Throughout the day, the nanny should be creative in coming up with age-appropriate educational activities to engage the child in. These activities will include, but not be limited to, tummy time, reading, flashcards, going on walks, playing with toys, doing sensory bins, and arts and crafts. These activities will evolve over time as the baby grows older. The mom and dad of the family works from home, and the nanny must be comfortable with the parents working from home.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

• Emptying diaper trash

Pets: The family has a small dog, a Miniature Pinscher (10-pound dog). The nanny should be comfortable around dogs. Dad will be the primary caretaker of the dog during the day. The nanny is not required to provide care to the dog.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Pass a drug test

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• The nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus but not required. (especially Spanish, as the family speaks both English and Spanish)

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position ideally starts on May 13th, 2024, and ends at the end of January 2025, with the possibility of extending the agreement if needed at the end.

• Legal pay is offered at $23.00 an hour (firm)
