    Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Belmont, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their three month old and two year old children. The Nanny would be needed Full time (Monday - Friday). Typically 35 - 40 hours per week (willing to discuss hours in more detail if the nanny is a fit for our family) with additional babysitting needs on occasion, requested by the parents.

    The best nanny for this family would be caring, patient, dependable and schedule-oriented. The nanny should be energized and ready to play, able to teach the children new things, and assist with potty training of a wonderfully outgoing 2 year old. The nanny must also be comfortable with caring for an infant and be up to date on the latest infant care practices. Their two year old likes to play outside (sidewalk chalk, kick ball, soccer, baseball, bubbles, gathering rocks, play in sprinkler, going on walks) and play inside (read books, do puzzles, color, build blocks, play with action figures and cars). Their infant likes to read books, eat, sleep, watch big brother, tummy time, and go on walks. The best nanny would be able to provide excellent care for both children and keep them active and engaged in age appropriate activities during the day. Both parents are working remote and will be working from home throughout the pandemic. The two year old is allergic to bananas, so caution should be to avoid feeding their two year old bananas. This family is strictly quarantining and social distancing. The nanny for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 and use common sense practices to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19.

    Nanny Responsibilities Include:

    • Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

    • Help the children dress appropriately for the day

    • Bathing the children as needed

    • Changing diapers and helping with potty training

    • Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

    • Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

    • After the pandemic is over, taking the children pre-approved age appropriate outings and adventures around town (Story Time, Park, Library, Music Time, and more)

    • After the pandemic is over, planning and scheduling play dates as requested and approved by parents

    Household Duties Include: (The family understands that the children are first priority, and ask for help with the following household duties if time allows.)


    • The children’s laundry as needed

    • Prepping the children’s food and bottles, and feeding the children

    • Washing or putting away dishes, etc.

    • Tidying toys after playing

    • Sanitizing bottles, toys, and surfaces

    • Stock diapers and other items

    • Emptying diaper pail as needed

    Pet Care Responsibilities:

    The family has one miniature dachshund (she's small, about 6 pounds)

    Responsibilities associated with the pets include:

    • No responsibilities would be related to the dog while parents are home.

    • Once parents go back to working in their offices, the nanny may be needed to let the dog out during the day to go to the bathroom.

    Qualifications:

    • Have at least 3 years of professional experience

    • College degree or equivalent experience

    • Have a professional resume

    • Pass a national background check, including driving record check

    • Have a valid driver’s license

    • Have safe and reliable transportation

    • Have a minimum of three professional references

    Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:


    • This position starts ASAP

    • Legal pay is negotiable at $16.00 - $20.00 an hour, depending on experience

    • Continued pay while the family is away

    • Two weeks paid time off

    • Paid major holidays

    • Paid mileage for driving on the job (Not to and from work)
