Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Closeburn-Glenkirk neighborhood (Near South Park) of South Charlotte in finding a Temporary Nanny for their son, who will be 5 months old when the nanny starts. The nanny would typically be needed Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, attentive, experienced in caring for infants, and have a passion for caring for children. Currently, the family follows the Moms on Call schedule for their son each day. A nanny who is familiar with Moms On Call would be a plus; however, it is not required as it is a scheduling method that can be easily followed. The nanny for this family would be responsible for keeping their son on his schedule, engaging him in developmental activities, and anticipating the needs of their son each day. Their son is quite young, and activities will evolve as he grows older. Currently, he likes to be read to, explore the world around him, and have some outside time as weather permits. The family is looking for a nanny who is creative and will do activities such as tummy time and sensory play that will encourage his overall growth and development. They live on a very busy road that is not conducive to going on walks; however, they have a fenced-in yard where the nanny can bring the baby outside to enjoy the outdoors and in the backyard area. The mom of the family works from home full-time, and the dad works from home 50% of the time. Each parent will respect proper work-from-home boundaries and ask for the nanny to respect these boundaries as well.

    Nanny Responsibilities Include:

    • Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
    • Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

    • Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children
    • Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day
    • Emptying diaper trash

Pets: The family has one Dachshund and one small cat. There would be no pet-related duties. Nanny must not be allergic to the pets and be comfortable with pets around the home.
