Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Central Charlotte, NC in finding a Part-Time Nanny for their two children. Ages 20 months old (son) and a baby due in late May, early June. The Nanny would be needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The nanny must be flexible as these hours could flex from time to time, but nanny will always be paid a guaranteed minimum of $750.00 a week. Any additional hours will be compensated at the overtime rate. The family is also looking for nights and weekend babysitting help on occasion, as requested by the parents. The family would need a nanny who would be willing to travel with them occasionally as well.

The best nanny for this family would be naturally very positive, professional, flexible, and reliable. The family is looking for a nanny who does not get flustered easily and is able to care for an infant and toddler at the same time. The family is an extremely easy going bunch, looking for a nanny who they can treat like family and will jump right into the craziness of their life. The family is looking for an experienced nanny who will join their family as part of the parenting team. The nanny should be able to follow their wants and needs for their child and also be able to suggest ideas and methods to the parents as the children grow older. Their son will go to pre-school in the Fall of 2020 for 3-5 days depending on what preschool program he gets in. The parents would drop him off and the nanny would need to pick him up from school daily. During the times their son is in school the nanny would be responsible for the baby, then both children when school is out. Their son Bobby LOVES music, can easily entertain himself coloring, reading books, and playing in the kitchen. He frequents the playground, gym class, and is learning to ride a scooter. The nanny is encouraged to keep him and their baby actively engaged in fun age appropriate activities and foster a fun learning environment for their children.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

Help the children dress appropriately for the day

Bathing the children as needed

Changing diapers and helping with potty training

Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

Taking the children on pre-approved age appropriate outings and adventures around town (Story Time, Park, Library, Music Time, and more)

Planning and scheduling play dates as requested and approved by parents

Household Duties Include:

The children’s laundry

Comfortable prepping the child’s food and feeding the children (preferably healthy meals)

Washing or putting away dishes, etc.

Sanitizing bottles, toys, and surfaces

Stock diapers and other items

Emptying diaper pail as needed

Pet Care Responsibilities:

The family has a Mini Australian Shepherd

Responsibilities associated with the pets include:

Letting dog out in backyard

Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional experience

College degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a national background check, including driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

CPR and First Aid Certified

English proficiency, Spanish would be a great plus, but not required.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

This position starts in May of 2020

Legal pay is offered at a negotiable rate depending on experience and expertise

Continued pay while the family is away
