Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Hunters Valley neighborhood of South Charlotte who is looking for a nanny for their 10-year-old daughter, who is in fifth grade. The family needs a nanny Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (possibly 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm), with date night babysitting opportunities as well. The family is looking for a nanny who is fun, but firm and able to really communicate and connect with a 10-year-old. The nanny would be needed to help with 5th grade homework, so the nanny would need to be willing and able to help her complete her homework. Also, the nanny would need to be firm with their daughter about completing it, as homework has been a challenge in the past. Their daughter loves to use her electronics, do crafts like bracelet making, play outside, play with the dog, ride her bike and scooter, and roller skate. During the school year she will also participate in Girls on the Run and drama club, which she adores. The family has a mid to large size dog, who is a Plott Hound. She is extremely sweet but still somewhat in the puppy stage (she is 3 years old, but she is energetic.) They have a fenced-in backyard so the dog is able to run outside as much as she wants. This position starts Ideally by mid-September and pay offered is 17.00 an hour, with paid holidays off, one week paid time off, and continued pay while family is away. The best nanny candidate must also pass an in-person pre-screening interview, background check, reference check, and driving check, and be drug- and tobacco-free, and CPR/First Aid certified.
