Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Freedom Park area of Charlotte, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their three daughters aged 9 years old, 3 years old, and 1 year old. The Nanny would be needed Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with possible additional babysitting needs on occasion, requested by the parents. The eldest girl is in third grade, so for most of the day the Nanny would only be responsible for the two little ones.

The best nanny for this family would be kind, imaginative, and cheerful. The family is of Catholic faith and a nanny who was a practicing Catholic would be a major plus for this family.The children like to read books and be read to, play outside, paint, play with building toys, play let’s-pretend games, dress up, and so on. The family is TV-free and screen-free so they would prefer it if the nanny kept phone use to a minimum in front of the children. The family would expect the nanny to keep the children active and having fun throughout the day, with naps as appropriate for the two younger ones.The best nanny for this family would be able to meet and exceed the needs of the children daily and foster a fun learning environment. Teaching experience would be a big bonus! Additionally, the nanny will need to collect the eldest girl from school twice a week, so she would need to be a careful and responsible driver.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Help the children dress appropriately for the day

• Changing diapers and helping with potty training

• Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

• Coming up with fun play activities for the children both inside and outside the home

• Picking the eldest child up from school 2 days a week

• Helping the children keep their bedrooms and play areas tidy

• Helping the middle child to learn her letters (teaching experience optional but highly desired)

Household Duties Include:

• Helping the children tidy up after playing

• Prepping child food and feeding the children

• Washing or putting away dishes, etc.

• Sanitizing bottles, toys, and surfaces

• Some driving: school pickup 2x / week

Pets

The family has two old, shy cats, so nanny would need to not be allergic to cats.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience

• College degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• English proficiency required. If the nanny can speak any Japanese as well that would be a major bonus, but not required. The elder two girls are bilingual in English and Japanese, as are both parents.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
