Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Myers Park neighborhood in finding a Full-Time Live-in or Live-out Nanny for their three children, ages 5 and 2.5 years old, and 10 months old. The two oldest children will be in school 4-5 mornings a week (The mom takes the 5 year old to school at 7:30 am and the nanny picks him up at 1:15 pm, he attends Monday - Friday. Their 2.5 year old gets dropped off by the nanny at 9:00 am at her pre-school, and gets picked up by the nanny at 12:45 pm. She attends Monday - Thursday), so the prime responsibility those mornings, during the school year is for their 10 month old child. The Nanny would be needed Monday - Friday from approximately 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. The family is looking for flexibility to come in early, stay late, and work overnights and babysitting needs as requested.

The best nanny for this family would be kind, caring, organized, proactive, and have a vested interest in helping the children grow to be self-sufficient and respectful people who love to learn. The nanny should be able to meet and exceed the needs of the parents daily, which are 1) protecting and caring for the children as a positive role model and 2) keeping a neat and organized household. The children enjoy playing outside, playing with friends, coloring, learning new things, reading books, and riding bikes and scooters. The nanny must also be active and engaged with the children, foster a loving and educational environment, while encouraging their individual development.

NANNY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Transporting children to and from school and other activities as needed (family has car with car seats dedicated for Nanny use)

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Planning and scheduling play dates

• Taking the children on pre-approved age appropriate outings and adventures around town (Story Time, Park, Library, Music Time, and more)

• Reading to the children and finding fun ways for them to learn i.e workbooks, activities, etc.

• Help the children dress appropriately for the day

• Bathing the children as needed

• Changing diapers or helping with potty training/toileting

   

  HOUSEHOLD DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Light housekeeping duties, which include unloading/loading dishwasher, wiping down counters

• Laundry for the family

• Keeping track of things the family is getting low on for the children.

• Working with children to clean up and organize toys and children’s things

• Planning and prepping the children’s meals, and coming up with ideas for new foods. Their 10 month old has an egg allergy, so nanny must be careful to ensure there is no egg in the 10 month old’s food.

   

  PET CARE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  The family has a Golden Retriever. Responsibilities associated with the dog include:

   

• Being aware of dog around house(dog has dog door)

• Feeding the pet as requested and need arises (twice daily that 5yr old son does)

• Giving pet water as requested and need arises

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience

• College degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• English proficiency, any additional languages spoken are a bonus
