Summer Nanny in The Cotswold Neighborhood of Charlotte
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Cotswold area of Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Summer Nanny for their 6 year old son (they also have a 2.5 year old son who will be in daycare during the day. The Nanny would be needed Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with additional babysitting needs on occasion, requested by the parents.
The best nanny for this family would be patient, energetic, and have a great sense of humor. Their son is sweet and does best when engaging in fun activities around the home, both inside and outside. He also loves to build with Legos, loves to be read to, and love to color, paint, and do other creative activities. Their 6-year-old will be attending the Fletcher School next year and has mild learning differences. He is very bright, empathetic, and has dyslexia, a mild receptive language disorder, and mild ADHD. A nanny who has some experience with children with dyslexia and learning differences would be a major plus as their son will be doing some virtual Zoom learning programs this summer.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child
Help the child dress appropriately for the day
Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level
Playing with the child both inside and outside the home
Preparing snacks and food as needed
Pet Care Responsibilities:
The family has a Cockapoo dog in the home who is 10 years old and hypoallergenic.
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of professional experience
College degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume

Pass a national background check, including driving record check
Have a valid driver’s license
Have safe and reliable transportation
Have a minimum of three professional references
CPR and First Aid Certified
English proficiency, any additional languages spoken, especially Spanish are a bonus
Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
This position starts June 29th or July 6th and goes until August 21st
Legal pay is negotiable, depending on experience
Continued pay while the family is away
Paid major holidays
Paid mileage for driving on the job (Not to and from work)
