Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Charlotte in finding a nanny Full-Time for their two boys, ages 3 years old and newborn. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 40 hours guaranteed a week. The family travels 15 – 20 weeks out of the year, and there will be times that the whole family will travel, then times when only one parent will travel at a time. The nanny will sometimes be asked to travel with the family (9-13 weeks per year) or stay home. Travel dates will be shared a minimum of 1-2 weeks in advance. Any additional hours over 40 hours a week will be compensated. All lodging/travel/food would be paid for by the family while the nanny travels with the family.

The best nanny for this family would be experienced, reliable, trustworthy, organized, and able to keep up with the family’s busy life. The family will have an infant son and a three year old. The infant will need to be kept on a schedule and have his basic needs met by the nanny daily. The nanny would also be responsible for engaging the infant in developmental activities to encourage his growth and development. The nanny would also be responsible for meeting their three year old’s basic needs and engaging him in fun activities. He loves to play outside, play with toys, read books, swim in their community pool, and go to playgrounds. He will attend preschool 3 days a week most weeks. During these times the nanny would only be responsible for their baby. Their 3 year old son has an egg allergy that is not severe. However, the nanny must be comfortable with administering the Epi-Pen if necessary. The nanny for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 and be cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

· Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

· Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

· Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

· Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include:

· Children’s laundry

· Prepping children’s meals

· Washing and putting away bottles and dishes

Qualifications:

· Have at least 3 years of professional experience

· College degree or equivalent experience

· Have a professional resume

· Fill out a complete online application

· Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

· Pass a national background check, including driving record check

· Have a valid driver’s license and passport

· Have safe and reliable transportation

· Have a minimum of three professional references

· CPR and First Aid Certified

· Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

· This position starts January 2021

· Legal pay rate is negotiable, depending on experience
