Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Part-Time House Manager for their family. The House Manager would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 20 hours a week. The family is flexible on what hours the House Manager works, but they are thinking 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm may work best. They are open to negotiating the right schedule for the best House Manager candidate.

The best House Manager for this family would be proactive, reliable, is loyal, a forward thinker, and open to assisting where needed. The House Manager should be able to anticipate the needs of the family proactively and intuitively know what might need to be organized, put away, etc. The House Manager should be extremely organized, and enjoys house Management tasks, dogs, and kids. This position requires an individual that can work independently without the family having to provide ongoing follow up/guidance (beyond the initial start up phase). The House Manager would be someone who can create balance, calm, and organization consistently at the home for the family.

The family consists of two full-time working parents. The family has two boys who are in school full-time, and would require occasional childcare coverage from the House Manager. So the House Manager must be comfortable with caring for children on these occasions. The House Manager for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 and be cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19.

Household Management Duties Include (Family has a weekly cleaning team, so this position will focus on keeping the house in order, and providing the framework to create balance)

• Wash laundry and put away clothes

   

• Organizing (clothes, kitchen, toys)

   

• Light cleaning (putting things away, keeping things straight, light vacuuming if needed)

   

• Grocery shopping

   

• Making beds

   

• Run light errands as needed (returns,etc)

   

• Weekly meal planning and preparation
• Providing childcare as needed (school closures, after school pick up, etc.)

   

  Pet Care 

  The family has two older dogs, the nanny would be responsible for the following pet care duties:

   

• Letting dogs out during the day to potty

   

• Occasional dog sitting

   

  Qualifications:

   

• Have at least 3 years of professional House Management experience

 

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

 

• Have a professional resume

 

• Fill out a complete online application

 

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

 

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

 

• Have a valid driver’s license

 

• Have safe and reliable transportation

 

• Have a minimum of three professional references

 

• CPR and First Aid Certified

 

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
