Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Cherry neighborhood of Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 16 month old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be enthusiastic, energetic, and loving. The family is looking for a nanny who is caring, will cuddle him, get on the floor and play with him, and read him books. The family is also looking for a nanny who is active with him, and adventurous. The nanny should be creative in finding activities to do during the day and would like to take him to parks and museums to get out and about. The best nanny would be firm with manners and rules, but also kind. The dad of the family works from home and has his own office. The nanny must be ok working in a home with a parent working from home.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry

• Child’s meal prep

• Loading the dishwasher after nanny and child meals

• Tidying up toys

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

Pets:

The family has a four year old labradoodle. No pet care is required.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations including the Covid-19 vaccine prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts January 3rd, 2022

• Legal pay is offered at $20.00 - $22.00 an hour, depending on experience

• Two weeks of paid time off
