Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Fort Mill, SC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two boys, ages 4 years old and a 1.5 years old. The Nanny would be needed Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with opportunities for additional babysitting needs on occasion, requested by the parents.
The best nanny for this family would be loving, patient, nurturing, active, and engaging. The hope is that the nanny becomes an extension of their family and will love and care for their children the same way they do. 2. Their 4 year old will be staying home from preschool this year and will need someone who is able to help with the educational component he will miss out on by not being in a traditional pre-school setting. This aspect of the position would not be extensive, just a few hours per week to help him with basic skills pre-k skills/education. (Family will provide educational materials-work books, supplies etc.) Their second son will turn 2 in November, they would also love for their nanny to work with him on things such as sharing, coloring, signing songs, and to foster his love of books. The boys are very active and need someone who is able to embrace their energy and keep them engaged. The best nanny would be someone who is active and willing to engage with the boys in a variety of activities. The boys like to play outdoors. They especially love going for walks, trips to the park, and playing in the backyard on the swing set. They also enjoy play-doh, playing with cars and trains, playing simple games, sensory bins, puzzles, painting, and coloring. The nanny would be encouraged to have them participate in the activities they like during the day and engage with them at all times. The family is practicing social distancing, but would still like for the nanny to get the boys out of the house as much as possible via walks through the neighborhood or nearby neighborhoods, trips to Anne Springs Close Greenway, picnics, outside games/activities, etc. The family is open to suggestions and ideas on outdoor activities while practicing social distancing. The nanny for this family must follow all CDC and government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 (including wearing a mask in public at all times) and be cautious as to avoid exposing themselves and the family to Covid-19. The nanny should be dedicated to helping the children reach their milestones, as well as foster their physical and mental health.
