Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Dilworth Neighborhood of Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their baby, due in summer 2024. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30/6:00 pm. Flexibility on occasion

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, prompt, and attentive. Experience with infant care and a passion for caring for young children is required. Safety is top priority and the nanny should be able to maintain a safe environment for the child daily. Throughout the day the nanny should be able to follow the baby’s schedule and daily routine, meet the needs of the child, and be attentive and engaging. The nanny should provide a nurturing environment and engage the baby in fun, age-appropriate developmental activities. These activities include, but are not limited to reading to the baby, talking to the baby, going on strolls, doing tummy time, playing with toys, doing arts and crafts, listening to music, and attending age-appropriate activities in the community. Ultimately providing a daily environment where their child is encouraged to learn, grow, and meet their developmental milestones over time.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

• Proactively coming up with fun activities to do at home and in the community

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep (Dad has a nut allergy, so the family has a completely nut free home.)

• Washing bottles and Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

• Emptying diaper trash

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations; the COVID-19 vaccine is preferred

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts in early November 2024

• Legal pay is offered at $23.00 - $25.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience

• Continued pay while the family is away
